Thrillist: Philly's Best Neighborhoods Ranked by Their Food
While it's not technically in downtown Philly, we'd be remiss without mentioning Manayunk/Roxborough as the go-to neighborhood for postgrads. Goat's Beard, Lucky's Last Chance, and Rubb are all solid choices from a dining perspective. But like most recent grads, if we're living in the 'Yunk, we're spending most of our disposable cash on going out, and there's no shortage of bars for those looking to get a little twisted.

The Town Dish: Lucky's Last Chance - Home of Killer Craft Beer & Unapologetically Gluttonous Comfort Food
"Do something you absolutely love and stick to it" says Chris Barnes, owner of Manayunk's Lucky's Last Chance. And if that thing you love is comfort food taken to the extreme (think burgers topped with mac'n cheese and an insane hot dog menu), then we say: More power to you!

Chris sat down with Manayunk.com for an interview about the history of Lucky's Last Chance, why he chose Manayunk as the restaurant's home and just how many calories he thinks are in those bacon-painted biscuits he serves.

Thrillist: Philly's 8 best under-the-radar burgers
Big Fat Greek Burger - In addition to a strict "be nice or go home" policy (seriously!), these guys also have an equally strict making-crazy-burgers policy, as evidenced by their My Boy Bleu; El Guapo; Joocey Lucy; one topped w/ peanut butter & bacon; the Bacon, egg and cheeseburger; the ghost chili-topped Inferno; and the Big Fat Greek Burger (above), which comes w/ feta cheese, gyro meat, and a sauce that's name, tzatziki, is almost as incomprehensible as someone wanting to watch the movie this burger's named after.

Zagat: 6 New Bar Burgers You Have to Try in Philly
"Like a Wawa Gobbler...but better" is the very true description offered by the folks at this Manayunk tavern. American cheese is melted over a four-oz. patty, which is then topped with oven-roasted turkey slices, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce. Get it through the end of November ($11.50).
